Rangers goaltender Martin Biron became the first Blueshirts netminder other than Henrik Lundqvist since the 2006-07 season to start a game against the Devils on Tuesday night, and although the Rangers ended up losing in an overtime shootout, Biron helped them get a point with 26 saves through overtime and regulation. His biggest save of the night came against New Jersey's Ilya Kovalchuk, who had a breakaway in the third period just moments before Brian Boyle put the Blueshirts up 2-1.
