Playing such a busy schedule the past month, the Rangers actually get three straight days between games to "reenergize"--in the words of head coacgh Alain Vigneault--before hosting the Colorado Avalanche next Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. That contest will begin a stretch of three games in four nights before the Rangers take an extended break because of the Winter Olympics.
