Though they fired 34 shots on goal, scored first, and controlled large portions of the game Tuesday, the Rangers dropped a 2-1 decision to the Tampa Bay Lightning, their three-game winning streak snapped in the process. Henrik Lundqvist was solid in stopping 23 of 25 shots, but a two-goals-in-nine-seconds burst by the Lightning early in the second period was the difference in this one, as was the play of Lightning goalie Ben Bishop, who is now 5-0-0 lifetime against New York.
