While the 4-1 loss may be lopsided, there was still positives to take away from the game, according to Dan Girardi.

After the game, Girardi discussed his third period penalty, the positives of the team's ability to carry the puck up the ice and transition from offense to defense, though the team must improve on its one-on-one puck battles.

Brad Richards, meanwhile, said it was too early to look as positives from the game, but that there were some to take. He also commented on Rick Nash's third period fight.
