Andrew Yogan followed orders, and Darroll Powe did, as well, and the end result was a goal with 33.9 seconds remaining in the second period of the Rangers 3-2 pre-season win over the Flyers on Tuesday night.
Yogan burst up right wing with the puck, then made sure to throw it on net from a sharp angle, much to head coach Alain Vigneault's delight as he told his players to find any which way to put pucks on net prior to the game Tuesday. And as that puck bounced off Powe in front and into the cage for the goal one could hear Vigneault telling his players all week to go hard to the net.
