Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault refused to be "one of those people" who felt the 2011 Vancouver Canucks were pushed around by the eventual Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins. The coach, though, did say he felt that toughness does not have to be defined by fighting.

Vigneault spoke with reporters prior to leaving for Philadelphia for tonight's preseason game against the Flyers, and touched on that subject as well as the play of the Danny Kristo, Brian Boyle and Marek Hrivik line, getting to know Benoit Pouliot, building chemistry throughout the lineup, playing to the team's strength, what he's hoping to see from Oscar Lindberg, making cuts tomorrow and how the goalie will split time tonight.
