The Rangers and Bruins played their first playoff game since 1973 Thursday night, and it didn't disappoint. The two teams went back-and-forth for nearly 80 minutes of hockey before the Bruins edged out the Rangers, 3-2, in overtime.

With the Rangers trailing, 1-0, in the dying seconds of the second period, Ryan McDonagh threw a puck on net that beat Tuukka Rask to tie the game with 1.3 seconds left in the period. The Rangers then took the lead just seconds into the third on a Derek Stepan goal, but the Bruins knotted the score minutes later, and later won the game in overtime.
