The Rangers were right back on the ice Saturday afternoon, less than 24 hours after their painful overtime Game 5 defeat in Washington the night before. It was a quick practice with the Rangers remaining loose and confident despite the 3-2 series deficit they will carry into Sunday's Game Six at The Garden.
Ryane Clowe and Darrol Powe did not take part in practice, while Marc Staal did, and Chris Kreider and Kris Newbury joined the varsity on ice.
