With Game 1 behind them, the Rangers took to the ice Friday afternoon looking ahead to Saturday’s Game 2 in hopes of evening the series. After the practice, both Carl Hagelin and Brad Richards met with the media to discuss last night’s game and what they expect in Game 2.
Hagelin spoke about his goal, the positive the team can take from their loss, his unsuccessful breakaway in the second period and the strong, but too often used penalty kill.
Richards agreed with Hagelin in that the team took too many penalties, how the game could have changed if they went ahead 2-0, and working to get injured players back into the lineup.
