The Rangers took to the ice for the first time at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., Thursday in preparation for tonight's Game 1 matchup against the Capitals.
Marc Staal and Brian Boyle, both sidelined with injuries, skated with the team but will be unable to play in Game 1. After the skate, Staal and Boyle met with the media to discuss where they were at in their recoveries and their disappointment in having to watch the game from the press box rather than be on the ice with their teammates.
