Derick Brassard missed out on his first chance to play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, sidelined with a shoulder injury in 2009 when the Blues Jackets skated against the Red Wings. Following practice on Wednesday at the MSG Training Center, Brassard chatted exclusively with Jim Cerny from BlueshirtsUnited.com about missing out on that 2009 opportunity, his excitement level to finally play in the post-season, how he accepts the responsibility to be a difference maker in the playoffs, and much more.
