The Rangers hit the ice Monday for the first time since their 4-0 win over the Devils on Saturday afternoon for a full team practice in preparation for their first round tilt with the Washington Capitals that begins Thursday night.

After practice, head coach John Tortorella met with the media to discuss the series not starting until Thursday night and what that could do for the team in preparing for Washington, the significance — or lack of — on facing Washington again for the fourth time in five years, what he expects from Rick Nash and Derek Stepan in the playoffs, and the team's overall experience in the postseason.

Watch Tortorella meet with the press to discuss all these topics, then share your thoughts about them in the comments below.
