Despite the Rangers clinching a playoff spot Thursday night with their 4-3 overtime win over Carolina, head coach John Tortorella doesn’t want his players to take Saturday afternoon’s matchup with the New Jesey Devils lightly. Depending on what other teams do before and after the Rangers take the ice, the Rangers can find themselves as high as sixth in the east or as low as eighth.

After practice Friday, Tortorella met with the media to discuss how the players feel about themselves following last night’s win, their current 9-3-1 stretch during April, his lineup heading into tomorrow’s contest, Derek Stepan’s play this season, Ryane Clowe’s importance to the team as well as his potential injury and more.
