History was made Friday night in a wild 8-4 win for the Rangers over the Buffalo Sabres. The Rangers scored five goals in a span of 2:58, setting a new franchise record. The previous record of 3:22 was set on Feb. 15, 1985 at Madison Square Garden. Carl Hagelin, Brad Richards and Ryane Clowe picked up goals in the dying moments of the first period, while Anton Stralman and Richards scored two quick oens in the opening minutes of the second period.
