The Rangers have often discussed the need to start games strong this season, but have had difficulty doing so on the ice. On Wednesday following the team's practice after last night's 4-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, Derek Stepan met with reporters to discuss the team's need to pick up points to continue to control their own fate, their difficulty in coming back from games after surrendering early leads and the importance of scoring three goals in a game.
