The difference between one point in the standings and two Wednesday night was decided in the end by six shooters---three on each side---as the Rangers eventually edged the Maple Leafs 3-2 at Madison Square Garden.
Only of those shooters through three complete rounds of the shootout was able to score, and fortunately for the Rangers it was Mats Zuccarello in the second round. Zuccarello, who beat Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer through the five-hole, has now scored on 50 percent of his career penalty shots, converting six of 12 chances.
