Derick Brassard may have arrived six minutes before warmups started Wednesday night, but the newcomer wasted no time in making a strong first impression on his new teammates, establishing a new career-high with four points in the Rangers 6-1 win over the Penguins at The Garden.
Brassard netted his eighth goal of the season in his Rangers debut after being acquired from Columbus earlier in the day, a spinning backhand shot on the power play 1:53 into the second period.
