Though there was no way to know it at the time, Ryan Callahan's pretty breakaway goal 15:13 into the first period which gave the Rangers a 2-0 lead at the time, proved to be the game-winning score as the Rangers finished off the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.

The goal was Callahan's third of the season---and his first at even strength. It was also an unassisted beauty.

"It definitely helps (getting an early lead) because any time you're playing with a lead it's obviously easier," Callahan said after the game. "When you have a guy like Hanky (Henrik Lundqvist) in net, any type of lead you get is going to be pretty good for the team."
