During Thursday night's Rangers-Islanders game, MSG's between-the-benches reporter John Giannone was hit squarely between the eyes with a puck cleared by Rangers defenseman Marc Staal. Cut by the stray puck, Giannone immediately signaled to Rangers Head Athletic Trainer Jim Ramsay, who quickly came to his aid as if Giannone was any hockey player. Ramsay's quick work and Giannone's determination to finish the broadcast enabled the reporter to stay on the air throughout the process. Giannone joked that he had really kept his eye on the puck during that play.

Check out this video recap of the incident and see how the it all played out in the middle of a game at The Garden.
