Coming off a strong 5-2 victory Saturday night against the Maple Leafs, the Rangers followed through with another solid 60-minute effort Tuesday, skating to a 2-1 victory over the Flyers at Madison Square Garden. Henrik Lundqvist was in top form, making 26 saves, and Michael Del Zotto notched a pair of points to pace the offense, while Jeff Halpern, Carl Hagelin, Dan Girardi, Ryan McDonagh, and Marc Staal were among the heroes on a penalty killing unit that killed off 5-of-6 Philadelphia power plays on the night. And team captain Ryan Callahan scored the game-winning goal---the 200th point of his NHL career---before suffering an undisclosed injury midway through the third period.
