Rangers alternate captain Brad Richards fired a seeing-eye shot up over Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask and into the Bruins net at 12:50 of the second period on Saturday night, giving the Rangers their first goal of the 2013 season. The goal cut Boston's lead to 2-1, but it was also noteworthy for another reason. New Rangers forward Rick Nash had the primary assist on Richards' goal, giving him his first point as a Blueshirt.
