Chris Kreider, the Rangers top pick in the 2009 NHL Draft, played on a pair of medal-winning teams for the United States at the World Junior Championships, winning gold along with Derek Stepan and Ryan Bourque in 2010 and bronze in 2011. Now Kreider finds himself a big fan as Team USA, with fellow Blueshirt first-rounder JT Miller playing a major role, goes for the gold Saturday in Ufa, Russia.

Jim Cerny caught up with Kreider after Connecticut Whale practice Thursday for this exclusive in which Chris discusses the success of Miller and the current U.S. squad and reminisces about the 2010 and 2011 tournaments he played in.
