Wednesday night in Hartford, the Connecticut Whale wiped out a 1-0 third-period deficit with a pair of goals en-route to a well-played 2-1 victory over the Worcester Sharks. Chad Kolarik tied the game early in the final stanza by netting his team-high ninth goal of the season; and five minutes later the Rangers top pick in the 2011 draft, JT Miller, scored the game-winner---ripping a left-wing shot past Sharks goaltender Harri Sateri.
Whale goalie Cam Talbot stopped 25 of 26 shots to backstop the victory, and winger Marek Hrivik assisted on both goals. Kelsey Tessier had an apparant goal disallowed late in the second period, and Michael Haley dropped the gloves earlier in that same period, upping his team high PIM total to 81 minutes on the season.
