It's been quite the good week for JT Miller, the Rangers first round selection in the 2011 NHL Draft. First Miller was selected to play for the United States at the upcoming World Junior Championships in Ufa, Russia, and then he went out and recorded the first two-goal game of his professional career, helping lead the Connecticut Whale to a 4-2 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Wednesday night.

Following Wednesday's game at the XL Center, BlueshirtsUnited.com's Jim Cerny chatted exclusively with Miller about the opportunity to represent Team USA for the second straight year at the World Juniors, his hopes and expectations for the prestigious tournament, the chance to play alongside the Rangers 2012 first round pick Brady Skjei on Team USA, as well as what he has learned over the first quarter of his first professional season with the Whale.
