JT Miller helped the Connecticut Whale snap a three-game losing skid by scoring twice in the third period Wednesday, leading Connecticut to a 4-2 victory over its arch rival Bridgeport. It was the first two-goal performance of Miller's young professional career, and followed first period goals by Kelsey Tessier and Brandon Segal for the Whale.
Cam Talbot stopped 17 of 19 shots in goal for Connecticut, which has won five of its last eight games, despite the recent three-game slide.
