In the last 40 seasons the Rangers have had two Calder Trophy winners, presented to the NHL's top rookie. Many will remember that Brian Leetch was the most recent Ranger to win the award in 1989; but it should not be overlooked that Steve Vickers won the Calder Trophy in 1973 after scoring 30 goals and totaling 53 points in 61 games.

Vickers started his Rangers career by scoring 30+ goals in each of his first four seasons, including a 41-goal campaign in 1974-75.

The high-scoring left wing recently chatted with Joe Tolleson about his Rangers past.
