Due in large part to the passion John Tortorella expressed about the plight of abused and neglected animals, Sunday's Rangers Dog Walk charity event held at Riverside Park was a rousing success. Rangers fans came out by the hundreds to join the Blueshirts head coach and nearly the entire Rangers NHL roster to raise money and awareness for local animal shelters and the Westchester Humane Society.

Following the event Torts spent some time with Jim Cerny from BlueshirtsUnited.com to discuss the big day, his involvement with this charity, and how much he appreciated the support of his team and its fans.
