The Rangers mounted a two-goal comeback on Monday night against Washington at The Garden, chipping away at a 2-0 lead until captain Ryan Callahan deflected in a Michael Del Zotto shot to tie the game 2-2 on a power play early in the third period. Just when all the momentum appeared to be on the home team's side, Washington got a power play of its own, and Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin scored the winner off a faceoff to send the series back to Verizon Center all tied up at 1-1.
